Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 2 scoops Protein powder Choose your favorite flavor (vanilla or chocolate recommended).
  • 2 cups Milk (dairy or plant-based) Oat milk or unsweetened almond milk are great options.
  • 1 large Banana (optional) Frozen is best for creaminess.
  • 1 tablespoon Sweetener (maple syrup or honey) Adjust based on personal taste.
  • 1 pinch Salt Enhances flavor.

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 tablespoon Nut butter For added creaminess and flavor.
  • 1 cup Frozen berries Add for a fruity twist.
  • 1 tablespoon Cocoa powder For a chocolate version.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Add protein powder, milk, banana (if using), and sweetener to a blender.
  • Blend until smooth, starting slow if using frozen ingredients. Scrape the sides as needed.
  • Check texture; it should be thick, similar to a Wendy’s Frosty. Adjust with ice cubes or more milk if necessary.
  • Pour mixture into a freezer-safe container, smoothing out the top.
  • Optional: Swirl in nut butter or sprinkle chocolate chips on top before freezing.
  • Freeze for 1 to 2 hours until firm but scoopable.
  • Let sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving for easier scooping.

Notes

Use frozen bananas for extra creaminess. Stir in any extras like nuts or chocolate bits after blending for a chunkier texture. Store in an airtight container; it gets harder after a couple of hours, so let it sit out before serving.
