  • 0.5 oz watermelon schnapps
  • 4 oz fresh watermelon juice Use fresh juice for authentic flavor.

Spice & Seasoning

  • 2-4 dashes hot sauce (Tabasco, Cholula, or Tapatio) Adjust to taste.
  • Tajín seasoning
  • granulated sugar For rimming the glasses.
  • fresh lime juice For rimming.

Garnish

  • lime wedges
  • watermelon slices
  • Mexican paleta lollipop (optional)
  • edible flowers (optional)

Optional Add-ins

  • fresh chili powder (alternative to Tajín)
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup (if extra sweetness is needed)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Rim shot glasses with fresh lime juice and dip in granulated sugar to coat.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine silver tequila, watermelon schnapps, and fresh watermelon juice.
  • Add hot sauce and Tajín seasoning based on your spice preference.
  • Fill the shaker with ice, cover, and shake well until chilled.

Serving

  • Strain the mixture into prepared shot glasses.
  • Garnish with lime wedges, watermelon slices, and optional paleta lollipop.
