Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients.
  • Rinse chicken under cold water and pat dry.
  • Trim any visible fat and cut chicken into uniform pieces.
  • Soften cream cheese at room temperature for 30 minutes.

Cooking Process

  • Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the crock pot.
  • Sprinkle ranch seasoning and garlic powder evenly over chicken.
  • Pour chicken broth into the crock pot.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Final Touches

  • Shred chicken using two forks and mix in softened cream cheese.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.

Notes

Great to serve with roasted vegetables or over rice. Can make it low-carb with zucchini noodles.
