  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz egg noodles Can substitute with other types of noodles.
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Cooking the Noodles

  • Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cooking the Chicken

  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  • Remove chicken from the skillet and let rest.

Combining and Serving

  • In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and let it melt. Toss the cooked noodles in the butter until well coated.
  • Slice the chicken and serve over the buttered noodles, garnishing with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove over low heat. For variations, try using whole wheat noodles or swap chicken for shrimp or tofu. Adding parmesan cheese can enhance flavor.
