Preparation

  • Cut the chicken breast into uniform 1-inch chunks, pat dry with paper towel.
  • In a medium bowl, combine minced garlic, soy sauce, paprika, black pepper, salt, and dried herbs.
  • Add the chicken chunks to the seasoning mixture and coat thoroughly.
  • Let the seasoned chicken sit while you prepare your pan.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Once the oil is shimmering, add chicken chunks in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
  • Cook undisturbed for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  • Flip the chicken and cook for another 2-3 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Add the butter in the last minute and let it baste the chicken.

Serving

  • Let the chicken rest for 1-2 minutes, then squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.
  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve.
